General terms and conditions of business
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all deliveries from Quo Vadis Kersten to consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither related to their commercial nor their independent professional activity.
2. Contracting parties
The purchase agreement is concluded with Quo Vadis Kersten, Alte Sülldorfer Landstr.418b, 22559 Hamburg.
3. Conclusion of the contract
3.1. The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but only an invitation to place an order.
3.2. By clicking the [Buy/Order with obligation to pay] button, you submit a binding order for the goods listed on the order page. Your purchase contract is concluded when we accept your order by sending an order confirmation via email immediately after receiving your order.
4. Right of withdrawal
4.1. If you are a consumer (i.e., a natural person who places the order for a purpose that cannot be attributed to your commercial or self-employed professional activity), you have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the statutory provisions.
4.2. If you, as a consumer, make use of your right of withdrawal pursuant to section 4.1, you shall bear the regular costs of the return shipment.
4.3. Furthermore, the regulations governing the right of withdrawal are detailed below.
Cancellation policy
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us [insert name of trader, address, telephone number and email address] of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not obligatory. You can also electronically fill in and submit the model withdrawal form or any other clear statement on our website (insert website address). If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you confirmation of receipt of such a withdrawal (e.g. by email).
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send your notification of exercising your right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.
Consequences of the revocation
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding any additional costs incurred if you chose a delivery method other than our cheapest standard delivery option), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification of withdrawal. For this reimbursement, we will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for testing their condition, properties and functionality.

5. Prices and shipping costs
5.1. The prices stated on the product pages include statutory VAT and other price components.
5.2. In addition to the prices shown, we charge a flat rate of €20 per order for delivery within Germany. The shipping costs will be clearly displayed again on the product pages, in the shopping cart, and on the order page.
5.3. For cash on delivery, an additional fee of €20 will be charged by the delivery person. No other taxes or fees will apply.
6th delivery
6.1. Delivery is only available within Germany.
6.2. Delivery time is up to 3 days. Any differing delivery times will be indicated on the respective product page.
7. Payment
7.1. Payment can be made either by prepayment or cash on delivery.
7.2. If you select prepayment as your payment method, we will provide you with our bank details in the order confirmation and deliver the goods after receipt of payment.
8. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until full payment is received.
9. Warranty for defects
Quo Vadis Kersten is liable for material defects in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions, in particular Sections 434 et seq. of the German Civil Code.
10. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission has established an online platform for dispute resolution. This platform serves as a point of contact for the out-of-court settlement of disputes concerning contractual obligations arising from online sales contracts. Further information is available at the following link:

We are prepared to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board to settle disputes with consumers. The competent consumer arbitration board is: Universal Arbitration Board of the Federal Government, Center for Arbitration eV, Straßburger Straße 8, 77694 Kehl am Rhein, www.verbraucher-schlichter.de. We will participate in dispute resolution proceedings before this board to settle the aforementioned disputes.
